I believe our moon will rise
At its appointed hour
A bare sliver at times
Crescent at others
Gibbous in its fullness
As it orbits our earth.

I believe the sun will rise
Every morning
(Unless one is too far north or south)
Early in summer
Later in winter
As our earth completes its
Annual orbit around our sun.

I believe our sun orbits
The center of our galaxy
Somewhere the other side of the Milky Way.
I wonder, has it completed a single orbit
In its four billion year life (give or take a few billion years)?
